We are an organisation established in 1989 by the members of the Helsinki Committee in Poland.
Our mission is - the development of the human liberties and rights culture, both domestically and abroad.
Since 2007 we have Consultative Status with the United Nation's Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

HFHR raises an objection to the statement of Minister Zbigniew Ziobro and actions leading to the institution of criminal proceedings against the Chairman of the Association of Public Prosecutors of the Republic Poland2007-07-11 We firmly object to the statement made by Minister of Justice and the actions leading to the institution of criminal proceedings against the Chairman of the Association of Public Prosecutors of the Republic of Poland, public prosecutor Krzysztof Parulski, combined with the demand to present a list of participants of the IX Annual Conference of the Association of Public Prosecutors of Poland, which included the preparation of the Association's Appeal of 23 April 2007 to maintain ethical behavior in the activity of prosecutors. |
