We are an organisation established in 1989 by the members of the Helsinki Committee in Poland.
Our mission is - the development of the human liberties and rights culture, both domestically and abroad.
Since 2007 we have Consultative Status with the United Nation's Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

The Marek Nowicki Small Grants Fund for graduates of HFHR training from CIS countries is a grants competition addressed to the participates of training at the HFHR Human Rights Training Center. The sponsor of the grant in the amount of 12,000 is the Open Society Institute Budapest. They can be awarded for NGO projects from CIS countries that have been favorably reviewed by HFHR experts.
