WATCH DOCS 2010 has been completed

10. International Film Festival WATCH DOCS. Human Rights in Film proved to be a success – both in terms of audience turnout (15.000 viewers) and media coverage. For the first time, some of the festival films were accessible online. The whole online project turned out to be popular beyond our expectations – during eight days seven selected titles were watched by 55.000 spectators in Poland. Altogether there were over 100 screenings at the festival and 82 titles were presented – including some fiction films. Master classes conducted by masters of documentary filmmaking – Frederick Wiseman and Sean McAllister attracted many participants. Few hundred viewers were present at this years' panel debates, addressing various human rights issues, such as situation of refugees in Poland and civil war in Colombia.
