The ruling of the Czestochowa court in the case of Alfred Egeman - another success for the “Human rights and settlements with the past” Program

In its verdict, the labor court considered the plaintiff's demands and ordered the Czestochowa University of Technology to:
- pay compensation to Alfred Egeman in the amount of his salary for the time remaining until the end of the period of notice in connection with gaining retirement rights,
- pay the retirement benefit,
- issue a new certificate of employment indicating that the basis for ceasing employment relations was the termination with notice by the employer in connection with the employee gaining retirement rights.
In presenting its oral justification, the court indicated that this was necessary to remove the consequences caused by the unconstitutional regulations of the Lustration Law and to ensure the effectiveness of Constitutional Tribunal verdicts, particularly in situations where they concern regulations violating human and civil rights guaranteed by the Constitution.
