We are an organisation established in 1989 by the members of the Helsinki Committee in Poland.
Our mission is - the development of the human liberties and rights culture, both domestically and abroad.
Since 2007 we have Consultative Status with the United Nation's Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

Memorandum "Assessment of the progress made in implementing the 2002 recommendations of the Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights"
Council of Europe Human Rights Commissioner, Thomas Hammarberg, prepared a memorandum regarding the observance of the European Convention on Human Rights in Poland. He presented it to the Council of Europe Ministers Committee. The memorandum was written following the Commissioner's visit to Poland last year. It includes recommendations for the government.
