We are an organisation established in 1989 by the members of the Helsinki Committee in Poland.
Our mission is - the development of the human liberties and rights culture, both domestically and abroad.
Since 2007 we have Consultative Status with the United Nation's Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

Program description
Since 1997, within the confines of the project Access to Justice, the HFHR carried out and continues to conduct many activities and undertakings regarding spokesmanship, research, training and provision of legal assistance. They are associated with guaranteeing commonly comprehended access to justice. The subject matter of these activities includes the reform of the justice system and guaranteeing the right to a fair court trial, ensuring access to legal assistance, including issues connected with regulating the legal services market, the quality of these services and the professional liability of lawyers.
